2. The installation site of the diesel generator set should have good draught and the generator end should have enough air intakes and the diesel engine should have good air outlet. The size of the air outlet should be over 1.5 times bigger than the area of the water tank. The aged diesel generating set should have concrete as the foundation. When installing, a leveling instrument should be used to measure its levelness make the generator be fixed a horizontal foundation. The generator set and the foundation should have professional crash pad or anchor bolt. Modern diesel generator does not need concrete as foundation as it has been improved, and the whole unit ground is flat and the unit is equipped with absorber, which is very convenient.
3. When used indoors, there should be eject smoke pipe leading outside, and the pipe diameter should be larger than the outlet smoke pipe diameter of the absorber. The bends connecting the pipes should not be more than 3 to ensure the unblocked smoke discharging. In addition, the pipes should be 5-10°tilted down to prevent raining from going in. If the smoke outlet pipe is vertically installed, rain cover should be equipped.
